LAND CALLED JESUS

There was a land that they called Jesus
They were asking for it:
To claim a man who so displeases
Moneylenders, soldiers, Caesars
Making the authorit-
ies as
Mad and sore:
I'm glad it wasn't me they called El Salvador

bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang

You couldn't bring the way he wheezes
Before any jury;
Statute of limitations, please, has
Anybody got some tweezers?
So we can be sure he
Breathes as
He had before
He was adjusted structurally, El Salvador

And I'm told that
Every day several thousand go higher
And a flick of His wrist
"These regrettably to the fire."
... Middle Eastern Terrorist.
But I can't believe He'd retire
And He's not up there still
With a neverending Passion
Up on his hill

Guard takes us from our cell and knees us
And it's pretty funny
To someone not as rich as Croesus
(Maybe thirty silver pieces);
Knowing how our money
Frees us
And what for:
I have no plans of visiting El Salvador
I have no plans of visiting El Salvador
I have no plans of visiting El Salvador

And we should have no plans of visiting El Salvador.
